Meet the reg­u­lar con­trib­u­tors of Cham­pi­ons League Talk:

Lon­nie is the lead writer/editor for Cham­pi­ons League Talk.  The Cana­dian res­i­dent has been a pas­sion­ate football/soccer observer for over 10 years. Fol­low­ing the tri­als and tribu­la­tions of Euro­pean club teams large and small, Lon­nie has devel­oped a thor­ough knowl­edge of the Euro­pean scene and enjoys shar­ing that with Cham­pi­ons League Talk read­ers. He’s appeared on the EPL Talk Show and nation­ally syn­di­cated radio shows, and was a key con­trib­u­tor to the suc­cess­ful EPL Talk Magazine.

Mike is a long­time jour­nal­ist and short time blog­ger. He  loves both kinds of foot­ball (Amer­i­can and the world game). Social media, con­nec­tiv­ity and gad­gets fas­ci­nate him and he can­not live with­out ESPN, FSC, Wired and those peo­ple who are impor­tant to him. The Gaffer, founder of Cham­pi­ons League Talk, has been fol­low­ing football/soccer for more than 30 years. Born in Wales, he is a for­mer jour­nal­ist who now lives in Florida and spends his time ana­lyz­ing the influ­ence of soc­cer world­wide. His writ­ing cre­den­tials include The Palm Beach Post, Palm Beach Illus­trated, South Florida Sun-Sentinel and the now defunct Match­day Mag­a­zine.
